Mountain Charm with Modern Touches
Fort Collins Real Weddings

Notes from the photographer, Christa Tippmann:

On a warm and sunny day tucked away deep in the mountains West of Fort Collins, Sean and Dakota got married.

Dakota had a vision for her wedding day that started long before she and Sean were married. Vision is the key word here as Dakota's wedding planning began 2 years prior to their engagement when Dakota made a special trip to Dallas to choose her wedding dress accompanied by her mother and Aunt. It's true, she picked the dress before the groom. Dakota understood that the right groom would understand her reasons why. Dakota's mother suffers from glaucoma which has rendered her almost 100% blind. For Dakota, at that time, beyond choosing Mr. Right was knowing that her Mom could have the opportunity to see her perfect dress in the event she would not be able to see it on Dakota's big day. Dakota's Mom will tell you that Dakota's dress carries a very specific sound. A luxurious swishing of its featherweight blush tulle. Family and friends would hear Dakota walking down the aisle towards her groom.
